Terms of Service

Version terms-2026-07-21-prelaunch

These pre-launch terms describe the basis on which PPWR Log test accounts are provided. They must be replaced or approved by qualified counsel before commercial launch.

Business and professional use

PPWR Log is offered for business and professional purposes. It is not offered for personal, household, or consumer use. You may create an account for a company, as a sole trader, freelancer or professional, while preparing to trade, or as an authorised employee or adviser.

When you create an account, you confirm that you are authorised to act for the organisation associated with it. An organisation may use your own name; incorporation, VAT registration, and formal company details are not prerequisites for account creation.

The service

PPWR Log helps organise commerce, packaging, evidence, and reporting records supplied or confirmed by users. It supports record keeping and review; it does not provide legal, tax, or regulatory advice and does not decide the legal effect of a record.

Your account and workspace

  • Keep login credentials secure and account information reasonably accurate.
  • Only connect stores and upload data you are authorised to manage.
  • Review imported and generated records before relying on or submitting them.
  • Use the service lawfully and do not interfere with its security or availability.

Customer data and connected services

You retain responsibility for the data you provide and the instructions you give PPWR Log. Connected services such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, and Supabase have their own terms. Connector removal, provider privacy requests, workspace closure, and deletion of a personal login are separate actions.

Plans, availability, and changes

Features and allowances depend on the selected plan or trial. Pre-launch access may change as the service is tested. Material commercial, retention, closure, and backup terms will be disclosed in the launch version after the matching product workflows and operational periods have been verified.

Digital packaging records and QR destinations

Creating or updating a PPWR Log-hosted digital packaging record is a paid-plan feature. If paid access ends, an already-published record becomes read-only: no new publication or translation can be added, but the same public address remains available for five years from the date paid access ended. Restoring paid access within that period re-enables updates at the same address. After the five-year period, the public payload is removed and the address returns an unavailable response; it cannot be revived for later content.

Workspace closure does not shorten that existing public-record period. PPWR Log retains only the already-public payload, public record state, and hosting dates needed for that purpose, separately from the deleted workspace. The five-year period is a bounded service commitment, not a statement that a QR code or hosted service is permanent.

If you generate QR artwork for your own destination, you remain responsible for that destination's content, security, availability, updates, and retention. PPWR Log provides the selected record data and artwork utility but does not host or monitor your address.

Pre-launch status

This document is versioned so PPWR Log can retain evidence of the terms presented when an account was created. A later launch version may require a new acceptance if its rollout policy says so.
